and now I could use some fresh food
but I write
I should shop but I’m not in the mood
so I write
there are dishes and pans in the sink
but I write
I can’t face the thoughts I may think
so I write
I promised to visit my friend
but I write
I fear I may go round the bend
so I write
I’ve been sitting for far too long
but I write
I can’t put right what is wrong
so I write

Been there; done that — more than once. But it usually helps me get a better perspective or a better handle on the rest of the stuff. Very good piece, Jane.

Thank you Sandra. I have been here too many times before, and I’m tired…

Keep making your own medicine, keep writing – it’s the only way out for the time being, constructive, reconstructing yourself … . I can’t even write. Is it that I don’t hurt enough?
