It’s just occurred to me how useful it would have been to have had a hidden video recorder in my flat over the past ten days, and particularly today. It could have been shown to all of the loved ones of new addicts. If we all started off with an inderstanding of how bad it gets, they would find the strength they need right at the beginning.

I hope to never see Paul behaving in that way again. One time when Laura was acting crazy I managed to video it on my camera, but I couldn’t have shown it to anyone. It would have been too hurtful. With Paul it’s different. He’s deliberately manipulative.
