Without wishing to rant about the evils of capitalism, I have to say that the pandemic has been handled very badly in this country. However, I’m lucky since I live in North Devon, where there have been comparatively few cases despite the fact that, all summer, we were inundated with holiday makers from far more stricken areas. I thank the trees for protecting us – and it seems that science is finally beginning to accept their mysterious qualities xxx
